About us

Our Mission

To provide a comprehensive Pilates Information Wiki and help make Pilates more accessible to everyone.

Our Community

PilatesReddit.com is an extension of the r/pilates community—a forum with over 150,000 and 2 million monthly visitors who come together to discuss all things Pilates. As the moderator of r/pilates for 8 years, I’ve seen countless threads where users ask for trusted resources, exercise breakdowns, and equipment recommendations.

This wiki was created in response to that need. Instead of repeating the same answers in forum posts, we’re building a central hub where anyone can find well-organized, reliable information on Pilates history, techniques, apparatus, and best practices. The content here evolves based on what the community finds most useful—we add and refine topics based on discussions, feedback, and common questions from r/pilates members.

This site is community-driven, and your contributions help make it better. Here’s how you can get involved:

🔹 Share Your Knowledge – Submit articles, guides, or detailed breakdowns of Pilates techniques. If you have expertise in Pilates, your insights can benefit thousands. Contributors can add links to their personal websites or portfolios for visibility.

🔹 Help with Web Development & Design – If you have web design or development skills, we’d love your help in improving the site’s usability and accessibility.
